Amazing Athletes is a multi-sport program that sets kids on a path to an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching them the basics of 10 sports, health, and nutrition. Play sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, soccer, hockey, golf, baseball, lacrosse, and track and field. Learn a basic introduction to nutrition and muscle identification. Perform balancing, catching, jumping, running, throwing, and kicking skills through the various activities.  All the sports equipment needed is provided for participants during the class. Pre-registration is required. Instruction by: Amazing Athletes. Limit is 15 participants.

In this class, we will create space for you to reduce the effects of stress by engaging in yoga poses, meditation, breathing on purpose, and self-reflection.  You can expect a slower-paced class with a focus on simple, repetitive movement and connection to breath, to build balance, strength, and flexibility of the mind, body, and heart.  Make an appointment with yourself for an hour of self-care.  All levels are welcome!  Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and bring a yoga mat.  Pre-registration is required.  Parents must sign an additional waiver at the first class for teens. Senior discount is not available for this class.  Instruction by Blooming Minds.  Limit is 15 per class.

Join the Clifton Recreation Department on Saturday, February 28th, for a trip to see both the nation's largest and the world's longest-running horticultural event. The 2026 Philadelphia Flower Show exhibit "Rooted: Origins of American Gardening" explores the traditions, practices, and personal journeys that shape our relationship with plants and how we garden today. Through stunning floral displays and immersive garden exhibits, guests are invited to create memories and enjoy magnificence as personal, cultural, and horticultural traditions are brought to life. The cost is $70.00 per person, which includes transportation and entrance into the flower show.  Meals are not included and are on participants' own time during the day.  Participants under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.  Bus departs from the Lester Herrschaft Center (Senior Center) parking lot located at Linzenbold Drive and Dog Pound Road.  Participants must arrive by 8:30 a.m. sharp at the Senior Center and will return home at approximately 6:30 p.m.  Participants will be transported by charter bus.  Seating is limited.  Register online or at the Recreation Office. Online registration ends on 2/20/25 or earlier if the bus has filled.Please only add members of your household to your account.  Additional registrants are required to make their own individual accounts.
