Enter the City of Clifton's Holiday Door Decorating Contest. Deadline for registering is Friday, December 6th (by the end of the business day at 4 pm). Decorate your door for the Holidays with family and friends. Doors must be ready for judging by Monday, December 9th (an email reminder will be sent on December 6th). Judging will take place throughout the week, please do not take off your door decorations until judging is finished. We cannot return to see doors if they have not been completed on time (December 9th). You do not have to be home when judging takes place. Winners will be contacted by phone and email after the judging is completed. All participants receive a small gift for entering the contest. Ten (10) winners will be selected based on various categories such as colorful, creative, beautiful, best theme, craftsmanship, old-fashioned, unusual, and original. You do not need to choose a specific category when registering. Participants who live in a multi-family/apt. homes must decorate a door that judges can access at any time (i.e. main door must be unlocked to get into lobby to see a specific door) to leave an entry gift, take photos, and see the decorations up close.
Please Note: Pre-registration is required. Register online or by calling the Recreation Office at (973) 470-5956. When registering online you must complete the entire online registration process to the end by choosing the "pay online" option in order for your door to be validated and your name to be placed on the list for judging.
Only register 1 person in your family for the same residence.
The contest is open to Clifton residents only!
Online registration ends on 12/6/24 by 4:00 p.m.
