In this class, we will create space for you to reduce the effects of stress by engaging in yoga poses, meditation, breathing on purpose, and self-reflection.  You can expect a slower-paced class with a focus on simple, repetitive movement and connection to breath, to build balance, strength, and flexibility of the mind, body, and heart.  Make an appointment with yourself for an hour of self-care.  All levels are welcome!  Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and bring a yoga mat.  Pre-registration is required.  Parents must sign an additional waiver at the first class for teens. Senior discount is not available for this class.  Instruction by Blooming Minds.  Limit is 15 per class.

In this workshop, draw and paint your own composition of birch trees using watercolor and oil-based crayons.  Participants will examine white birch trees, branch formation, and bark texture.  Their interpretations will result in colorful and diverse works of art.  This class is for youth in 1st through 6th grade. Pre-registration is required.  Instruction by: MaryAnn Baskinger - Co-Chair, Clifton Arts Center Inc., and former Clifton District Arts Supervisor and Art teacher.  Limit is 20 participants per workshop.

In this class, we will create space for you to reduce the effects of stress by engaging in yoga poses, meditation, breathing on purpose, and self-reflection.  You can expect a slower-paced class with a focus on simple, repetitive movement and connection to breath, to build balance, strength, and flexibility of the mind, body, and heart.  Make an appointment with yourself for an hour of self-care.  All levels are welcome!  Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and bring a yoga mat.  Pre-registration is required.  Parents must sign an additional waiver at the first class for teens. Senior discount is not available for this class.  Instruction by Blooming Minds.  Limit is 15 per class.

Every lunge, squat, push-up, and move is perfectly synced to music making the workout more efficient. All fitness levels are welcome.  Beginners, start small and simply build up. Adult Open Indoor Volleyball for ages 18 & over (no high school students permitted in program).  This is not a league, but a drop-in program.  Individuals interested in playing must register and pre-pay for each date, $10.00 per session, that you are interested in attending.  Day-of registration will not be accepted and there is a limited number of people permitted at each session; so once full, no more are permitted to play on that date.   Each person is required to create their own individual account (except for married couples or if parent and child live in same household).  The program is conducted at Clifton High School, 333 Colfax Avenue, on select Monday and Thursday evenings from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.  Dates will be updated periodically, based on school schedule.  If schools are closed, due to inclement weather conditions, all evening programs are automatically cancelled.  You can call the weather hotline at (973) 470-5680 after 4:00 p.m.
