"Trail of Tranquilty: A Mindful Hiking Experience" - Adults 18+ Register View Cart

Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery with our Mindfulness Hike led by a seasoned health coach. Reconnect with nature, cultivate inner peace, and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit with this immersive outdoor experience. Participants will engage in a warm-up and stretch, short guided meditation, mindful walking, reflection, and sharing. Pre-registration is required.  Participants will meet the health coach at Garrett Mountain. An email with the exact location will be sent a few days before the hike. Transportation is on your own.  A small water and snack will be included on the day of the hike. Sign up now and embark on a path to greater well-being.  Limit is 30 participants.

Suggested items to wear/bring for the hike:
When preparing for a mindfulness hike, consider packing the following essentials:




  • Appropriate Footwear: Choose sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes or boots with good traction to navigate uneven terrain safely.


  • Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress in layers suitable for the weather conditions, light jacket or long sleeve for AM, a breathable t-shirt in case it gets hot, and don't forget a hat and sunglasses for sun protection.


  • Hydration: Carry an adequate supply of water to stay hydrated throughout the hike.


  • Consider a hydration pack or water bottles that are easy to access.


  • Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen with a high SPF rating before the hike and bring along extra sunscreen for reapplication. Don't forget lip balm with SPF protection.


  • Insect Repellent: If hiking in areas with mosquitoes or other biting insects, bring insect repellent to ward off bugs and prevent bites.




Additional items to consider bringing when hiking, whether alone or for full-day hikes with family and friends:




  •    Backpack: Use a comfortable, well-fitted backpack to carry all your essentials, distributing weight evenly to prevent strain.


  •    Nutritious Snacks: Pack lightweight, energy-boosting snacks such as trail mix, granola bars, or fresh fruit to keep you fueled during the hike.


  •    First Aid Kit: Carry a basic first aid kit containing essentials such as bandages, adhesive tape, antiseptic wipes, pain relievers, and any personal medications.


  •    Safety Gear: Pack a whistle, flashlight, or headlamp with extra batteries, and a multi-tool for emergencies.


  •    Personal Items: Don't forget personal items such as a camera or smartphone for capturing memories, a journal for reflections, and any other items that enhance your hiking experience.




By packing these essentials, you'll be well-prepared for a safe, enjoyable, and enriching mindfulness hike in nature.
