Gross Out Science Camp

Miss Manners might not approve but your child definitely will! Gross Out Camp is a week of learning about our gross bodily functions. Burping, boogers, excrement, gas, saliva, germs, and how our brain, cells, heart, organs, and blood contribute to this. Make exploding "toothpaste", edible excrement, and handmade ice cream. Take home your very own slimy "boogers" and more! Pre-registration is required. Instruction by Mad Science. Limit is: 20 per camp.
Receive a $50 discount on Underground Explorers Camp if you register for both Gross Out Science Camp & Underground Explorers Camp. If participants are registering for both the Underground Explorers and Gross Out Science camps they must be picked up in between for lunch and leave the building. No supervision will be provided. Please call the Recreation Department at (973) 470-5956 to receive the camp discount Mon-Fri 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Scholarship Program:
A portion of your registration fee will be used to support summer program scholarships for Summer Fun in the Sun.
Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. While this establishment no longer requires masks to enter, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.
Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last during class.
Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.
In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.
Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.
Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.
Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.
Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
