Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens Workshop - Youth & Teens

This workshop will provide your teen with an opportunity to unplug and connect to themselves and each other.  Through an introduction to yoga and mindfulness, we will practice movement and mindful activities for balance, strength and flexibility of the mind, body and heart. We will learn about our body's physiological response to stress and with support from each other, in a non-competitive setting, we will breathe with purpose, set clear intentions, and relax to recharge our spirits to respond to life's many challenges. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and notebook to class.  It's a vibe! Instruction by: Sharon Prawetz, Blooming Minds Yoga.  Limit is 12 per workshop.

Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. While this establishment no longer requires masks to enter, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.

Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last during class.

Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.

In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.

Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.

Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.

Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.

Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
