This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.
In this class, we will create space for parents to connect to themselves and each other using mindful movement and breathing techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to practice yoga poses, meditation, breathing on purpose, and self-reflection. We will learn about the physiological effects of stress as well as tools to mitigate these effects. In addition, we will focus on setting clear intentions and taking time to relax to recharge our spirits so that we may respond to the many challenges of parenting. Make an appointment with yourself for 2 hours of self-care during this workshop. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and a notebook. No senior discount is available for this class. Limit is 15 per class. Instruction by: Sharon Prawetz, Blooming Minds Yoga.
