Open to participants ages 5-17, plus an Adult category (Clifton Residents Only).  The contest will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Main Memorial Park – 1395 Main Avenue.   The event is free of charge.  Pre-register online at www.cliftonrec.com. Registration deadline is 5/15/25. Fish must be caught by hook (no nets) and the hook must be in the fish’s mouth when presented for judging.  The final fish must be caught by 9:45 a.m. Awards will be issued for the Largest Fish and Most Fish Caught in various grade categories and for the top male and female winner for adults.

Join us at Garret Mountain Reservation-Barbour's Pond - 8 Mountain Ave., Woodland Park, NJ for the Passaic County Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 3rd. In addition, a fishing clinic will be conducted by GoGo Gomez on Thursday, May 15th at Main Memorial Park. Registration information for both of these activities will be available at www.cliftonrec.com.
