Intro to Pickleball -Advanced Beginner - Adults

This 4-week class is for participants who have the knowledge on how to score in a basic pickleball game and have  ideally played at least 10 hours of recreational games at a beginner level. Participants who have taken the beginner pickleball class previously may continue into this class as well. The Advanced Beginner class will focus on the first progression of transitional games, continuation of the pickleball fundamental strokes, as well as serves and return of serves.   Each class will start with drills and end in practice games with supervision. Paddles and balls will be provided by the Recreation Department. Pre-registration online is required.  Instruction by: Leonard Hutabarat, PPR Certified Pickleball Coach. Limit is 8 per class.

Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. While this establishment no longer requires masks to enter, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.

Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last during class.

Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.

In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.

Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.

Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.

Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.

Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
