Family Trip - Philadelphia Flower Show "United by Flowers"

Join the Clifton Recreation Department on Saturday, March 2nd for a trip to see both the nation's largest and the world's longest-running horticultural event. The 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show features large-scale floral and landscape creations and gardens designed by some of the world's most talented florists and garden artists from Philadelphia, the U.S., and beyond, curated by experts and judged by globally renowned horticultural gurus. This year's theme, United by Flowers, will put the full power of flowers and gardens on display as our exhibitors interpret the theme in creative and inspiring ways. The cost is $64.00 per person, which includes transportation and entrance into the flower show. Meals are not included and are on participants' own time during the day. Participants under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Bus departs from the Lester Herrschaft Center (Senior Center) parking lot located at Linzenbold Drive and Dog Pound Road. Participants must arrive by 8:45 a.m. sharp at the Senior Center and will return home approximately 6:00 p.m. Participants will be transported by charter bus. Seating is limited. Register online or at the Recreation Office. Online registration ends on 2/29/24 or earlier if the bus has filled.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT CLIFTON CITY HALL – 900 CLIFTON AVENUE. MEET IN THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE LESTER HERRSCHAFT SENIOR CENTER
(Linzenbold Drive & Dog Pound Road) AT 8:45 AM.
THE BUS WILL BE LEAVING PROMPTLY AT 9:00 AM
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TRANSPORTED BY A CHARTER BUS
ONCE WE ARRIVE AT OUR LOCATION YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES TO ENJOY, SUCH AS DISPLAYS, SEMINARS, LECTURES, VENDORS, FOOD AND MORE.
YOU MUST RETURN TO THE BUS PROMPTLY AT 4:00 PM, SO THAT WE CAN RETURN TO CLIFTON APPROXIMATELY AT 6:00 PM.
IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING THE DAY YOU CAN CONTACT DEBBIE AT 973-951-7273. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT SOMEONE IN YOUR GROUP HAS A CELL PHONE WITH THEM ON THE TRIP IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
