Fishing Derby - Passaic County

Celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day by taking part in the Passaic County Fishing Derby sponsored by Passaic County Board of County Commissioners, GoGo Gomez for Kids and Family, Clifton Recreation and Passaic County Parks and Recreation on Saturday, September 23rd from 7:00 am - 10:00 am (last fish in at 9:45 am) at Main Memorial Park (1395 Main Ave) Clifton. Prizes will be awarded for the most fish and largest fish caught in each age and gender group. Age groups include: Junior boys/girls ages 5-8, senior boys/girls ages 9-13, teen boys/girls ages 14-17, adults 18+. This is a catch and release event. Participants must bring their own equipment. Space is limited. Registration is being conducted solely through the Passaic County Parks and Recreation website.  Register at: www.tinyurl.com/PassaicDerby

Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. Please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.

Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.

In the event that the program is cancelled due to a health emergency, participants will receive a refund.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the event for use. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.

Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.

Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.
