Eureka! Invention Camp

Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds in this invention camp. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. Eureka! Pre-registration online is required. Instruction by: Mad Science. Limit is 20 per class.
Sign up for both the NASA Journey into Outer Space and the Eureka Invention Camp conducted by Mad Science and save $25 off the Eureka Invention Camp. Participants must be picked up in between camps for lunch and leave the building. Clean-up and settin up of the next program must take place between camps and no supervision will be provided. Contact the Clifton Recreation Department at 973-470-5956 when registering for both camps to receive the discount.
Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. While this establishment no longer requires masks to enter, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.
Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last during class.
Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.
In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.
Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.
Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.
Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.
Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
