Enter our 23rd Annual Apple-Pie Baking Contest at the City Hall Municipal Complex-900 Clifton Ave. Pre-registration online is required. Drop off your pies at the HarvestFest between 1:00 - 1:30 pm (table will be set-up in the parking lot behind the Clifton Animal Shelter). Winners will be announced between 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top three pies (grocery store cash cards) as well as consolation gifts for all entries. Please include a list of ingredients on an index card for your apple pie entry. This is an amateur baking contest. Online registration ends 10/24/25 by 4:00 p.m.
If the Halloween costume judging is re-located due to severe weather conditions, the apple pie contest will be held at the Clifton High School Gymnasium (333 Colfax Ave.) Pies must be dropped-off between 11:30 am - 12:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 1:00 p.m. Call the weather hotline at (973) 470-5680 for weather related updates.
