Bring your tent and sleeping bags for the Clifton Recreation Department award-winning Family Camp-Out at Albion Park. Enjoy a fun night of activities and camping. Sit around the campfire, have dinner, roast marshmallows, sing songs, and enjoy live entertainment. The following morning, enjoy breakfast and participate in educational classes, crafts, cooking and family fun. The cost is $4.00 residents / $8.00 non-residents per person.  All participants aged 2 and over are required to purchase a ticket even if they are not sleeping over. Registered families/groups may set up 1 tent on each campsite with up to 5 people staying inside.  Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.  Pre-registration is required. All participants need to check in at the registration table upon arrival at the event for wristbands and campsite assignments.  Online registration ends on 8/13/25.  If you want to register for this program after the 13th, you will need to call (973) 470-5956 for assistance.  

This year’s campout theme is "Bear Necessities". 

This event is brought to you in cooperation with the Clifton Special Police Law Enforcement Officers Association, the Clifton Fire Department, and Clifton Against Substance Abuse. 

Please note: Participants are required to set up tents on their own.  If you want a campsite next to another specific family, all parties must check in at the same time upon arrival at the event.
